The HUBBELL 20A Twist-Lock Receptacle (L14-20R) is an industrial locking receptacle intended for indoor dry locations. Twist-lock mechanism helps reduce accidental disconnection. 3 poles, 4 wires, rated 125/250V AC at 20 A. Supports back and side wiring with wire restraint recesses; face color coding aids voltage matching. Accepts #16 AWG to #8 AWG solid or stranded copper wire; screw terminals identified per UL 498. Flush mount with included mounting hardware. Nylon polyester base, thermoplastic elastomer housing, all-brass mounting and grounding system. Maximum continuous 75°C (167°F), minimum -40°C without impact. Withstands 2,000V minimum dielectric; V-2 flammability per UL94/CSA. IP20; NEMA Type 1 enclosure. CSA C22.2 No.42, Federal Specification W-C-596, UL 498.
